Abstract

In the method, a heat recovery device is utilized to recycle a great quantity of steam heat generated by quick lime digestion in an indirect heat exchange mode in the process of preparing soda ash by the ammonia soda process. The heat recovery device is a tube type heat regenerator to solve the problem that a great quantity of water vapour heat generated by the lime melting machine in the process of producing soda ash by the ammonia soda process is difficult to recycle effectively, thus saving energy, lowering production cost, preventing the heat regenerator from scaling, ensuring continuous and stable operation for a long term, and improving environment.
