Benefits of technology

This patented technology has several benefits: it uses cheap naturally occurring material with strong bonds that can be used for joining pile wood panels together without any harmful chemicals or substances being released during production; this results in stronger joint over time compared to traditional methods like glue sticking or welding.

Problems solved by technology

There were many technical issues associated with traditional methods of producing wooden plates or lumber without causing environmental concerns related to their use. One solution was proposed involves developing novel types of adherends called biofibrous glues (BG). These glucide-type bindings replace naturally occurring ones like vaporizable hydrocarbon compounds but they also emit harmful gas during combustion processes. To address this issue, researches focused on finding alternatives to fossil fuel based glutaronics while maintaining strong bonds against moisture ingress.

Embodiment Construction

[0022] The first step is to prepare a 10% polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solution: 250g of polyvinyl alcohol and pure water are swelled at room temperature for 8 minutes at a ratio of 1:9, and then the swollen solution is heated to 90°C and kept at a constant temperature for 25 minutes , after making it dissolve completely, then lower the temperature to 25°C for sealing, that is, make a PVA solution with a mass fraction of 10%;

[0023] The preparation of the second step glucomannan solution: under the environment of 25 ℃, take 1000g glucomannan as raw material, dissolve it into 19 times of mass pure water, and prepare a glucomannan solution with a mass fraction of 5%, and stir well for 10 minutes;

[0024] The preparation of the 3rd step chitosan / glucomannan blend solution: in glucomannan solution, add 1000g chitosan monomer as cross-linking agent, fully stir and react after 1 hour, be mixed with mass fraction: 10% chitosan / glucomannan blend solution;

Abstract

The invention discloses a wood adhesive, in the technical scheme, konjac glucomannan and chitosan which serve as main raw materials, glacial acetic acid which serves as catalyst, polyvinyl alcohol which serves as modifier and pure water which serves as solvent are mixed and react at 25 to 90DEG C to prepare the wood adhesive. The invention has the advantages of wide sources of the three raw materials, high bonding strength, lower cost and no pollution. The natural polymer-based wood adhesive prepared by the invention is applied to the bonding of poplar veneer, the average value of the dry bonding strength is 4.01MPa, the average value of the wet bonding strength is 2.88MPa, and the dry and the wet strength reaches the values of national standard requirements.
