Embodiment

[0047] The present invention is described in more detail through examples below. In the examples, parts represent parts by mass, and % represents % by mass.

[0048] (Preparation of sealant for liquid crystal dropping method)

[0049] After mixing and stirring each resin component in the ratio shown in following Table 1, it heated and melt|dissolved a photoinitiator. Thereafter, fillers, thickeners, etc. are appropriately added and stirred. Thereafter, it was dispersed with a three-roll mill, filtered through a metal mesh (SVS316 twill weave mesh 635 mesh manufactured by Kansai Kinnet Co., Ltd.), and a sealant for a liquid crystal dropping method was prepared.

[0050] (Create and evaluate units by dispensing coating)

[0051] After mixing a 5 μm spacer (PF-50S manufactured by NEC Glass Co., Ltd.) as a spacer in each of the obtained sealants for liquid crystal instillation methods, the syringe was filled and defoamed, and then dispensed with a dispenser ( Musashi Engineeri...

Abstract

The invention provides a liquid crystal sealant and a liquid crystal display unit using the same. The liquid crystal sealant is used in a liquid crystal dripping method and the liquid crystal doses not embed into the sealant and the viscosity is below 100Pa.s and the coating performance is excellent in any one of the glue-dropping coating and the silk-screen printing coating. The liquid crystal sealant comprises: (a) a silicon rubber powder and (d) a light-cured resin, wherein the viscosity measured by an E type viscometer at the temperature below 25 DEG C is below 100Pa.s.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a liquid crystal sealing agent having a viscosity of 100 Pa which is excellent in dispensing coatability and capable of screen printing, and a liquid crystal display unit (liquid crystal display cell) using the liquid crystal sealing agent. The liquid crystal sealing compound of s or less does not pass through a drying process or a prebaking (pribeic) process, and a liquid crystal does not embed in a sealing part. Background technique [0002] In recent years, applications of liquid crystal display units have spread to large display screens such as televisions, and demand for liquid crystal display units has increased in many applications. Therefore, in the manufacture of liquid crystal panels, in order to further improve mass productivity, it is required to increase the size of the substrate and shorten the man-hour per unit (time per process). [0003] When making a liquid crystal display device, the liquid crystal s...
