The invention discloses an electronic nose system for banana quality detection, which comprises a sensor array, a signal collection module, a temperature control module, a gas course control module, a press button, a display screen, a data storage module, a communication interface and a controller, wherein the gas course control module collects the characteristic gas of a sample into a gas chamber; the characteristic gas is converted into a voltage signal by the sensor array; the voltage signal is converted into a digital signal by the signal collection module; and finally, the result is determined by a mode identification unit. Compared with the prior art, the system has the advantages that: 1, due to the adoption of portable design, the system can work independently without a computer; 2, as the temperature and humidity control module of a sensor working chamber is added in the system, the working environment of the system is more stable and the detection accuracy is improved; and 3, a preprocessing technique and BP neural network combined identification algorithm is adopted, so the identification rate of the system is improve.
