The device comprises a direction surveying part, a strength surveying part and a rotary ring rotating speed surveying part, wherein the direction surveying part consists of metal electrodes, a strong magnet, a small iron ball communicated with an external power supply, a double-sided reflector and a metal rod; when in the electric field, the electrified metal electrodes at two ends freely rotate, and the direction surveying part indicates the direction of the electric field; the strength surveying part comprises a fixed ring and a rotary ring which are made of an insulating material, a rotary metal electrode and a fixed metal electrode which are made of a conductive material and two reflectors; and the rotating speed of the rotary ring is surveyed by a counter after an extraction electrode extracts current. The electric field surveying device is not affected by external conditions, can survey both a uniform electric field and a non-uniform electric field, has wider range of electric field strength surveying, and in particular has higher surveying accuracy when the strength of the electric field is higher.
