Abstract

The invention discloses a pearl polishing material prepared from corncobs and a preparation method thereof. The polishing material is a product prepared by uniformly mixing a certain amount of pearl polishing emulsion also called emulsifying wax and the corncobs serving as a polishing carrier. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: uniformly mixing cera alba, ceresin, white mineral oil, a surfactant and distilled water, and dissolving and emulsifying the mixture at 80 to 85 DEG C to prepare the pearl polishing emulsion; simultaneously crushing the corncobs into particles with the particle size of 2 to 3mm by using a machine, washing the crushed corncobs with tap water, cooking the washed particles with the water of 75+ / -5 DEG C for 2 to 3 hours, washing the cooked particles again, and air-drying the particles for later use; and finally uniformly mixing the pearl polishing emulsion and the corncobs serving as the polishing carrier according to the proportion of 1:5, and air-drying the mixture to obtain the corncob pearl polishing material.
