Abstract

The invention relates to light absorption paint for laser quenching and a preparation method thereof. The invention is characterized in that the light absorption paint for laser quenching is prepared by evenly mixing the following components by weight or volume: 20-30g of SiO2, 2-4g of graphite powder, 8-12g of paint flake and 100-130mL of absolute alcohol. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing 20-30g of SiO2, 2-4g of graphite powder, 8-12g of shellac and 100-130mL of absolute alcohol; (2) soaking 8-12g of paint flake in the absolute alcohol until the paint flake is completely dissolved; and (3) adding SiO2 and graphite powder into the absolute alcohol with dissolved paint flake, and evenly mixing. The light absorption paint can obviously increase absorbance and enable the energy density distribution to be more uniform. The invention obviously enhances the quenching hardness, avoids partial burnt phenomenon on the workpiece and increases the hardening layer thickness (up to 1.2-2.0mm). The invention has the advantages of reasonable formula, simple preparation, high safety, environmental protection, simple use and low cost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a light-absorbing coating and a preparation method thereof, in particular to a light-absorbing coating for laser quenching and a preparation method thereof. Background technique [0002] At present, due to the uneven distribution of the energy density of the laser spot, the laser directly scans the workpiece during laser quenching, which may easily cause uneven hardness and local burns. Due to the low absorption rate of laser energy by direct scanning of the workpiece, the quenching and hardening layer is relatively thin, only about 0.3-0.5mm. [0003] The light-absorbing coatings commonly used in the market now have the disadvantages of high cost and low light absorption rate, and the preparation has stricter requirements on production equipment and the environment, thereby increasing the input and production costs of implementation, and easily causing environmental pollution during production. [0004] Therefore, providing a...
