Abstract

In the invention, the extracting method comprises the following steps of: crushing griffonia seeds and then ultrasonically extracting the crushed griffonia seeds for 1-4 times by using purified water at 30-70 DEG C, wherein the time of each extraction is 1-4 hours, and the mass ratio of the griffonia seeds to the purified water is 1:(6-10); after an extraction liquor is screened with a filter mesh of 60 meshes, filtering the extraction liquor by using an ultrafiltration membrane of 1-5 microns; after the filter liquor is concentrated, crystallizing and recrystallizing the concentrated filter liquor and separating out crystals by using a centrifugal machine; and drying the crystals in a hot air circulating drying box for 5 hours at 65-70 DEG C so as to obtain the 5-hydroxytrophan product. Through HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) detection, the purity of the obtained product is more than 99% while the conversion rate of the product is more than 70%.
