Abstract

The invention relates to a lighting and guiding display method and device for generating power by utilizing discharge water in a water tank of a building, wherein a generator is installed on the water pipe and fire-prevention water pipe of the building; and the water flow which is generated in the water pipe in the course of utilizing the water drives the generator to generate electricity. The concrete device provided by the invention comprises a hydroelectric generating device, an energy storing device and a lighting device, wherein the hydroelectric generating device is arranged on the water pipe at the lower part of the water tank and is composed of the generator, a first permanent magnet and an impeller; the generator is arranged outside the water pipe; the first permanent magnet is arranged on the input shaft of the generator; the impeller is arranged in the water pipe through a rotating shaft; a second permanent magnet is arranged in the impeller; the power output end of the generator is connected with the energy storing device; and the energy storing device is connected with the lighting device. In the invention, the water flow in the water pipe drives the impeller to rotate; the current is generated by the generator; and the current is output to the energy storing device and used for the lighting and guiding display for escape or public passages. When the building is on fire, a power grid is interrupted. The device provided by the invention continuously generates electricity and independently supplies the lighting and guiding display to the energy storing device by means of the water flow, and is not influenced by the power grid.
