Abstract

The invention relates to a sealing arrangement for sealing a reciprocating piston rod of a piston compressor relative to gaseous working medium of the piston compressor. The sealing arrangement has a first and a second sealing element which are separately arranged inside a recess of the sealing arrangement at an axial distance, and the sealing elements are arranged respectively at an axial end of the recess and in contact with the piston rod. A feed line for a sealing medium is provided in the sealing arrangement. The feed line is connected with the recess. The first and second sealing elements are configured to be separated from a radial direction end of the recess along a radial direction, thus the sealing medium plays action on the radial periphery surface of the first and the second sealing elements along the radial direction.
