[0026] In view of the disadvantages associated with variations in light intensity of LEDs in certain applications, a method and system are described to control drive current. More generally, applicants have recognized and appreciated that it would be beneficial to predict the junction temperature of an LED and adjust the drive current required to meet intensity requirements in future frames.
