Abstract

The invention discloses a hot-cold combined forming method for a star-shaped sleeve of a constant velocity universal joint. The method comprises the following process steps of: (1) heating a rod material at a medium frequency, and heating a hot-rolled rod material with an appropriate diameter specification serving as a raw material to 1,220-1,280 DEG C in a medium-frequency induction heating furnace; (2) performing hot upset forging at a high speed, and conveying the raw material which is heated to 1,220-1,280 DEG C in the previous process to a high-speed hot upset forging machine for performing hot forging forming; (3) performing controlled cooling: conveying a workpiece which is subjected to hot upset forging at a high speed to a controlled cooling furnace, and performing controlled cooling by using the residual heat of the hot-forged workpiece; (4) performing conventional surface treatment; and (5) blocking and forming to obtain a product meeting the requirements of structure property and size accuracy. Due to the adoption of the method, the structure and the product accuracy of the workpiece are ensured, the material utilization ratio is high, the forming process flow is shortened, the production efficiency is greatly increased, the the requirement of batch production can be met, and the energy consumption and environment pollution are lowered.
