[0044] Composition

[0045] The composition according to the invention comprises the ingredients listed in the table below, ideally in the proportions mentioned therein:

[0046]

[0047]

[0048] Preparation

[0049] Combine these ingredients according to the following method:

[0050] At room temperature and ambient pressure, 1.5 g of menthol crystals were placed in the container.

[0051] 4 g of pure alcohol, preferably 95° ethanol, is introduced into the vessel to dissolve the menthol crystals and nigella oil (when added).

[0052] The whole was left to stand for 5 minutes, then stirred to aid dissolution.

[0053] 2 g of edible sublimed sulfur was incorporated into the resulting mixture.

[0054] Then add 5g of GAFT juice. The juice was previously prepared by soaking 1 kg of dried leaves and stems of GAFT in 3.5 liters of water for 20 hours at room temperature. The mixture is then distilled by heating at low temperature and collecting the vapors formed in a ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a plant composition for the treatment or prevention of viral blood-borne diseases such as the diseases caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or hepatitis C. According to the invention, the composition mainly includes flower of sulphur, a plant which contains catechins and a tannin agent, as well as a pharmaceutically acceptable medium. The invention also relates to the method for manufacturing said composition. The invention can be used in the field of treating or preventing viral blood-borne diseases such as the diseases caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or hepatitis C.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to plant-based compositions for the treatment and prevention of viral blood diseases such as those caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or hepatitis C. Background technique [0002] Symptoms associated with the disease are delayed in HIV carriers because they do not appear until two to ten years after their infection. During this period, with no visible disease effects, carriers may have unknowingly transmitted the virus during unprotected intercourse, through blood contamination, or through mother-to-child transmission. Therefore, this long incubation period is partly responsible for the epidemic spread of the disease. [0003] Furthermore, there is currently no vaccine that provides protection against HIV, and existing known treatments, such as retroviral triple therapy, are somewhat effective but not curative. [0004] Furthermore, these drugs are generally not prescribed at the onset of seropositivity because...
