The apparatus of the invention comprises an ultrasonic atomization tank provided with an ultrasonic atomizer, a mist trap and a collector; the mist trap consists of a cylindrical shell and a spiral blade capable of rotating in the cylindrical shell; the spiral blade is in a porous sheet shape; an inlet of the mist trap communicates with a mist outlet of the ultrasonic atomization tank; an outlet of the mist trap communicates with an inlet of the collector. The mist trap has two functions of guiding and trapping mist. The ethanol concentration method of the invention employs the above apparatus. Compared with a prior art, the invention has advantages of high recovery efficiency of mist atomized by ultrasonic and low energy consumption.
