Problems solved by technology

[0016] However, when the photocured pressure-sensitive adhesive bonded between adherends is exposed to light, the adhesive force of the pressure-sensitive adhesive decreases with time (photoaging).
As a result, with the lapse of bonding time, problems such as color change (deterioration of transparency), deterioration of durability, and light leakage of the pressure-sensitive adhesive occur.

Embodiment 1

[0334] As shown in Table 1, 1 part by weight of KAYARAD R-551, 10 parts by weight of UA-306T, 4 parts by weight of IRGACURE500, and 1 0.5 parts by weight of Coronet L and 0.4 parts by weight of KBM-403 were mixed to obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition 1.

[0335] The obtained pressure-sensitive adhesive composition 1 was applied on a polyester film (PET3811, manufactured by Lintec Co., Ltd.) subjected to release treatment to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and further dried in a drying oven at 80° C. for 2 minutes. , a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having a thickness of 25 μm after drying was obtained.

[0336] The obtained pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 1 was attached to one side of a polarizing film (made of polyvinyl alcohol), and a UV irradiator (light source: high-pressure mercury lamp) with a conveyor belt was used with a lamp output of 160 W, an irradiation distance of 10 cm, and an integrated li...

Embodiment 2

[0339] The compounding amount of KAYARAD R-551 was changed from 1 part by weight to 5 parts by weight, and 10 parts by weight of UA-306T was changed to 20 parts by weight of KAYARAD DPHA, except that it was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 to obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive Mixture composition 2 and pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing film 2. Moreover, each physical property of the obtained pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing film 2 was evaluated similarly to Example 1. The obtained results are shown in Table 2.

Embodiment 3

[0341] Except that KAYARAD R-551 was changed to BP-4PA, and UA-306T was changed to EBECRYL140, it was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 to obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition 3 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing film. 3. Moreover, each physical property of the obtained pressure-sensitive adhesive polarizing film 3 was evaluated similarly to Example 1. The obtained results are shown in Table 2.

Abstract

Provided is a radiation-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for optical members. When being cured (crosslinked), the radiation-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition can attain sufficient progression of crosslinking reaction, without suffering from the inhibition of reaction caused by excessive scavenging of free radicals. When used in bonding adherends, the radiation-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition exhibits excellent durability and light leak resistance even under high-temperature conditions or high-temperature and -humidity conditions, and further is inhibited from photoaging and thus prevents the occurrence of faults associated therewith. A radiation-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for optical members, which comprises (A) a specific (meth)acrylic copolymer, (B) a radiation-curable acrylic compound having two (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, (C) a radiation-curable acrylic compound having 3 to 10 (meth)acryloyl groups in the molecule, (D) a hydrogen-abstraction type photopolymerization initiator, (E) an isocyanate-type crosslinking agent having two or more isocyanate groups in the molecule, and (F) a specific light stabilizer in specific amounts respectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a radiation-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for optical parts, and more specifically, to a radiation-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for optical parts used for bonding optical parts together or an optical part and an image display device. Pressure sensitive adhesive composition. Moreover, it is related with the pressure-sensitive adhesive type optical member using this pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. Background technique [0002] In recent years, image display devices (flat panel display devices) such as liquid crystal display devices (LCD), organic EL display devices, and PDPs (Plasma Display Panels) tend to have larger screen sizes, higher image quality, and higher quality. In addition, in these image display devices, various optical members are pressure-sensitively bonded according to the use or purpose. Optical parts used here generally have a multilayer structure in which ...
