Abstract

The invention discloses a formula of a light high-temperature mullite heat-insulating brick. The formula comprises 25-45wt% of silica flour, 55-75wt% of alumina powder, saw powder and bonding agents, wherein the saw powder occupies 15-20wt% of the silica flour and the alumina powder, and the bonding agents occupy 5-10wt% of the silica flour and the alumina powder. The preparation method of the light high-temperature mullite heat-insulating brick includes the detailed steps: a) compounding according to the formula; b) uniformly mixing the raw materials in the proportion in a stirrer; c) filling the mixture subjected to the step b) into a wood mould or a metal die for forming on a vibration press, wherein the forming pressure is 5-8Mpa; d) drying a formed blank for 6-10 hours at the temperature of 80-100 DEG C; and e) placing the dried blank into a high-temperature kiln for sintering at the temperature of 1550-1650 DEG C, and maintaining the temperature for 6-10 hours. By the preparation method, use temperature of the light high-temperature mullite heat-insulating brick can be greatly increased, and heat-insulating effects are excellent.
