Problems solved by technology

The problem is that when the optical signal of the side-axis channel passes through the reflective surface on the gyratory, it will be affected by the central channel, which will increase the transmission loss; and the central channel is directly coupled through the micro-lens, which will cause radial jump during use. , affecting the coupling efficiency of the central channel

Abstract

The invention discloses a novel double-path optical fiber rotary connector which comprises a central passage and a paraxial passage, wherein a central incident light collimation system arranged on a rotating shaft reflects onto a central passage receiving collimator perpendicular to the rotating shaft through a 45-degree reflector, and signal aligned coupling of the central passage is achieved. A paraxial incident light collimation system arranged on the rotating shaft emits parallel light, the parallel light passes through a convex lens and a concave lens which are coaxial with the rotary connector and then enters a paraxial receiver, and rotary continuous transmission of paraxial light signals is ensured by aid of the axial symmetry property of the lenses. The space between the convex lens and the concave lens is determined by the paraxial receiver which can be a collimator or a large-core-diameter optical fiber. The central incident light collimation system, the paraxial incident light collimation system and a rotor sleeve form a rotor part, the other parts form a stator part, and the 45-degree reflector and a stator are kept relative static through pair coupling of a magnet. The novel double-path optical fiber rotary connector has the advantages of being simple in structure, small in inserting loss, high in coupling accuracy and stable and reliable in performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of optical fiber communication, in particular to the field of large-capacity and high-speed signal transmission, and is mainly applied to the occasion of rotationally coupled transmission of optical signals of two channels between relative rotating devices. Background technique [0002] Optical fiber rotary connector is a mechanism that uses optical fiber as a transmission medium to transmit signals between a rotating platform and another stationary platform. At present, this type of device is being widely used in different fields, such as antenna systems for scanning and tracking radars in the military field, gun mounts or turrets of tanks, etc.; industrial aspects, such as submarine sonar information acquisition systems, oil well drilling equipment, robots system, industrial process control, etc.; CT scanning system in medical equipment and information transmission system on aircraft in aerospace. The dev...
