Abstract

The color toner for optical fixing includes an infrared light absorbent and being compatible with an optical fusing device to irradiate an unfixed toner attached on a surface of a recording medium with infrared light to melt and fix the unfixed toner on the recording medium, wherein an optical absorptance of the color toner is set to be lower than an optical absorptance of a black toner in a wavelength region of the infrared light emitted from the optical fusing device.
