However, ideal CSI is difficult to obtain in reality, especially at the transmitting end of the system
Furthermore, what these algorithms have in common is that they do not consider the impact of forward error correction coding (forward error correction, FEC) on system performance, including the famous Hughes-Hartog algorithm, which studies the throughput of bit error rate constraints without coding. Abstract

The invention discloses an adaptive coding and modulation (ACM) method applied to a multiple-input multiple-output-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) system. First, the optimal coding rate and the best modulation mode are combined according to channel quality and a subcarrier modulation mode to enable the system to obtain high spectral efficiency and high channel capacity, and the effective data transmission utilization ratio of the system is assessed according to the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR). Second, effects of the rate of channel forward error correction coding on the throughput and the spectral efficiency of the system are combined, and the coding rate and the modulation mode are determined by utilization of the signal to noise ratio of the channel and the channel gain to noise ratio. Third, the ACM algorithm is a variable-rate transmission control method to adapt to changes of wireless channel fading and achieve maximization of the throughput of the system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of communication, and relates to a space multiplexing method for wireless communication, in particular to an adaptive coding modulation method applied to a MIMO-OFDM system. Background technique [0002] Adaptive coding and modulation (ACM) based on channel quality and user requirements can effectively improve bandwidth utilization. Especially in the OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technology) system, the coding rate and subcarrier modulation mode of each symbol are determined according to the actual channel quality, which can maximize the data transmission efficiency. For ACM, previous research results are all based on uncoded adaptive modulation MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Out-put) system, assuming that both the transmitter and receiver have ideal channel state information (CSI), the system gets Good multiplexing gain. Among the existing adap...
