Embodiment Construction

[0029] The present invention will be further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0030] According to the principle of synthetic aperture imaging, the relative position change must be necessary for radar to be able to distinguish two-dimensional objects. Since the static target is detected, this scheme adopts the radar rotation method.

[0031] figure 2 It is a schematic structural diagram of the FOD two-dimensional detection system proposed by the present invention. The system includes a high-precision turntable 6, one end of the radar arm 10 is fixed on the high-precision turntable 6, and the other end of the radar arm 10 is connected to the radar 9, so that the radar 9 can rotate around one end point of the radar arm 10 as the center of the circle. In addition, in order to quickly extract various characteristics of foreign object targets on the airport runway, determine the threat level of the airport runway, timely alarm, and effectiv...

Abstract

The invention discloses a two-dimension detection system for airport pavement foreign matter. The two-dimension detection system for the airport pavement foreign matter comprises a rotating table and radar, and is characterized by further comprising a radar arm with a length of at least 2 meters. The radar is fixed at one end of the radar arm, and the other end of the radar arm is fixed on the rotating table to enable the radar to rotate with the rotating table. The rotating table is used for bearing the radar to conduct rotation, a stepping angle of each rotation is alpha which is equal to or less than 0.2 degree and each angle stays for a time so that the radar can conveniently emit and receive a radar signal in the position of the angle. The radar adopts a stepped frequency system, radar center frequency adopts 16 gigahertz, signal bandwidth of the emitted signal is 3 gigahertz, and step frequency is 3 megahertz. When the radar rotates with the rotating table by a certain angle, an echo signal from a target area is obtained, then a filtering-back projection algorithm is utilized to dispose the collected total echo signals to obtain target two-dimension information. Due to the technical scheme, limit of a small area is overcome, and two-dimension imaging of a quiet object in the small area can be achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention provides an airport runway management device, in particular a system and method for two-dimensional detection of foreign objects on an airport runway. Background technique [0002] Airport runway foreign object FOD (Foreign Object Debris) refers to some foreign material, debris or object that may damage the aircraft or system. The harm caused by FOD will damage the aircraft, take precious lives and bring huge economic losses. [0003] Among the existing FOD detection systems for foreign objects on airport runways, there are four widely used ones, namely the Tarsier system developed by the British Qinetiq company, the FODetect system developed by Israel, the FOD Finder system developed by the United States and the iFerret system developed by Singapore. Among them, the first three systems use millimeter-wave radar detection as the main method and video image recognition technology as a supplement to detect FOD; while the iFerret system only...
