Abstract

The invention provides a system for monitoring climatic factors for forest litter decomposition. The system comprises a plurality of wireless sensing control units, one or more wireless gateway servers and a monitoring terminal. The wireless sensing control units are used for acquiring climatic parameters. The wireless gateway servers are respectively electrically connected with at least one of the wireless sensing control units and used for receiving climatic parameters of the corresponding wireless sensing control units and transferring the same, and the wireless gateway servers and the corresponding wireless sensing control units form an ad hoc network. The monitoring terminal is connected with the wireless gateway servers and used for acquiring the climatic parameters transferred from the wireless gateway servers. The wireless sensing control units are arranged outdoors. The wireless gateway severs can acquire data of the wireless sensing control units, acquired data are transmitted to the monitoring terminal, and the monitoring terminal can acquire data of various monitoring points. The system for monitoring climatic factors for forest litter decomposition has the advantages of low cost, accuracy in measuring and convenience in maintenance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the fields of biotechnology and the Internet of Things, in particular to a monitoring system for forest litter decomposition climate factors. Background technique [0002] Forest litter decomposition plays a key role in material and nutrient cycling and organic matter turnover in forest ecosystems, and its process is an important determinant of plant biomass and ecosystem carbon storage. Litter decomposition rates are regulated by environmental conditions, the chemical and physical composition of litter (litter mass), and soil biology (Cadish and Giller, 1997). Lavelle et al. (1993) speculated that these three factors regulate the litter decomposition rate in a hierarchical manner. Aerts (2006) believed that the order of the three main regulatory levels is: climate > litter quality > soil organisms. Climatic factors play a dominant role in litter decomposition at global or regional scales. The research on forest litter...
