Embodiment 1

[0093] Nitrogen was introduced into a reaction device equipped with a stirrer, a thermometer, a reflux condenser, and a nitrogen introduction pipe, and the air in the reaction device was replaced with nitrogen. Then, 100 parts by weight of 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 0.9 parts by weight of 8-hydroxyoctyl acrylate, 0.5 parts by weight of acrylic acid, 3 parts by weight of polyethylene glycol monoacrylate, and N-vinyl acrylate were added to the reaction device. 5 parts by weight of pyrrolidone and 60 parts by weight of solvent (ethyl acetate). Then, 0.1 parts by weight of azobisisobutyronitrile as a polymerization initiator was dropped over 2 hours and reacted at 65°C for 6 hours to obtain the acrylic copolymer solution used in Example 1 with a weight average molecular weight of 500,000 1. A part of the acrylic copolymer was extracted and used as a sample for the following acid value measurement.

Embodiment 2~9 and comparative example 1~9

[0095] The composition of the monomers was set as described in (A) to (E) of Table 1. Except for this, in the same manner as the acrylic copolymer solution 1 used in Example 1 above, Example 2 was obtained. ~9 and the acrylic copolymer solution used in Comparative Examples 1-9.

[0100] To the acrylic copolymer solution 1 of Example 1 prepared as described above, 0.2 parts by weight of KF-351A (polyether-modified siloxane compound with HLB=12) and 2.5 parts by weight of acetylacetone were added and stirred, then added Chromato HX (isocyanurate body of hexamethylene diisocyanate compound) 1.5 parts by weight and 0.02 parts by weight of dioctyltin dilaurate were stirred and mixed to obtain the adhesive composition of Example 1. After applying the adhesive composition on a release film made of a silicone resin-coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, the solvent was removed by drying at 90°C to obtain an adhesive layer Th...

Abstract

The invention provides an adhesive composition and a surface protective film. The adhesive composition has excellent balance of adhesive force in low-speed peeling and high-speed peeling and excellent durability and reworking. The provided adhesive composition is composed of (A) a (methyl) acrylate monomer containing alkyl groups having a carbon atom number being C4 to C10, (B) a co-polymerizable monomer containing hydroxyl groups, (C) a co-polymerizable monomer containing carboxyl groups, (D)a poly alkylene glycol single (methyl) acrylate monomer, and (E) an acrylic polymer of a copolymer of a hydroxyl-free nitrogen-contained vinyl monomer or an alkoxy-contained (methyl) acrylate monomer, and further comprises (F) an isocyanate compound containing three functions, (G) a crosslink inhibitor, (H) a crosslink catalyst, and (I) a polyether-modified siloxane, the acid value of the acrylic polymer being 0.01 to 8.0.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a surface protection film used in the manufacturing process of a liquid crystal display. More specifically, the present invention relates to an adhesive combination for a surface protection film that is bonded to the surface of optical components such as polarizing plates and retardation plates constituting liquid crystal displays to protect the surfaces of optical components such as polarizing plates and retardation plates And the surface protection film on which it is used. Background technique [0002] Conventionally, in the manufacturing process of optical components, such as a polarizing plate and a phase difference plate which are components which comprise a liquid crystal display, a surface protection film is temporarily bonded to the surface of an optical component. When assembling an optical component into a liquid crystal display, the surface protection film is peeled and removed from the optical component. In or...
