Abstract

An intra-bladder balloon and a prostate balloon form the two balloons; two of the four chambers are balloon inflation chamber channels, one of the rest two chambers is an intra-bladder urination channel, and the remaining chamber is an analgesic or anti-infective drug feeding channel. According to the four-chamber double-balloon urinary catheter, the prostate balloon is a high-capacity low-pressure balloon and can compress the wound of prostate surgery after being filled with gas or liquid to achieve the aim of hemostasis through direct compression. One additional catheter chamber of the four catheter chambers is arranged behind the prostate balloon and is used for filling local anesthetic to stop pain or other medicines to prevent infection.
