A direct least-squares ellipse fitting is proposed for cyclic fitting, noise removal, until the center of the ellipse is fixed, and finally the precise center of the pupil is obtained. Using the cross-ratio invariant principle for coordinate mapping, the gaze coordinates can be accurately calculated. The system does not require external equipment, and has good adaptability to the natural rotation of the human head.
