The pattern guide bar horizontal movement control system comprises an industrial personal computer, a horizontal movement controller, an optical-electricity encoder, an SU driver and an SU mechanical position device. The optical-electricity encoder is used for determining position information of a spindle of the warp knitting machine and transmitting the position information to the horizontal movement controller. The horizontal movement controller is provided with a data communication interface used for receiving process data downloaded from the industrial personal computer. The SU driver is used for converting the process data transmitted by the horizontal movement controller into an electric control signal and driving and controlling the SU mechanical position device to act. The horizontal movement controller is connected with the SU driver through optical fibers.
