Abstract

Provided is a system and a method of energy efficiency management used for a micro remote tracker. The system comprises a real-time clock circuit, a timing waking-up module, an energy efficiency management module, and an ephemeris data hot backup module. The timing waking-up module completes data acquisition and transmission at user-set time points with timing trigger mechanism and is in a dormant state in other time system. With the decrease in energy reserve, the energy efficiency management module decreases the frequency of data acquisition and transmission of the system and further prolongs the operating time of the system. When the energy reserve is below 10 percent, the energy efficiency management module inactivates part of auxiliary functions of the system in order to guarantee the system to operate permanently. The ephemeris data hot backup module predicts current position with historical data and traces in order to diminish a satellite search range. Because of management of super low power consumption, the power consumption of a micro remote tracker is greatly decreased such that devices in such type are more miniature, more intelligent, and more widely used.
