Abstract

The invention relates to a wireless local area network, indoor positioning, the information collection and processing technology and the signal strength technology, in particular to the wireless local area network technology for the indoor positioning. The wireless local area network is widely applied to indoor environments and hot spots where people perform activities due to characteristics of high communication speed and simple deployment. Compared with the outdoor positioning, the requirement of the indoor positioning for positioning precision is higher. Furthermore, lots of interference factors such as various walls, partition walls, people or furnishings existing in the indoor space can affect transmission of wireless signals, such as attenuation, reflection, scattering, multipath effect and the like of the wireless signals. The wireless local area network technology for the indoor positioning based on the WIFI seamless positioning technology is used for providing network security of the wireless local area network for enterprise-class users. WIFI can have functions of achieving wireless access and transmitting data and be used for the indoor positioning. On the basis of having no need for additional hardware, the WIFI network can analyze signal strength or signal to noise ratio of a wireless network device to infer the position of a target object.
