Abstract

The invention provides a discharge tube for a fast axial-flow gas laser. The discharge tube comprises an air inlet pipe portion, a bulge structure, a secondary mixing structure, a straight tube portion and a gas outlet which are successively connected through an air passage. The air inlet pipe portion is provided with an anode; the gas outlet is provided with a cathode; and the radial dimension of the secondary mixing structure is greater than the radial dimension of the straight tube portion. According to the discharge tube for the fast axial-flow gas laser, the side, which is provided with a pre-ionization electrode, of a vertical pipe is removed on the basis of a cross bulge type discharge tube to reduce the resistance of gas in the bulge structure, the outlet of the bulge structure is additionally provided with the secondary mixing structure, and the radial dimension of the secondary mixing structure is greater than the radial dimension of the straight tube portion so that work gases which are not completely mixed in the bulge structure can be further mixed in the secondary mixing structure, thus the uniformity of gas speed distribution and turbulent flow distribution is improved.
