Abstract
The invention relates to a method for providing electric connectors (6a and 6b) for a base block (1). The electric connectors are made of silver or silver-based alloy and have high-conductivity contact surfaces. Through the electric connectors, the base block is connected through a bus (8) connected with an electrolytic bath. In order to enable the base block and the electric connectors of the base block to be easy, fast and convenient to manufacture and low in cost, the method includes the steps that (a) one end of the base block with an aluminum surface is heated, and welding flux is provided for the heated aluminum surface, wherein the welding flux is matter with high aerobic performance, if the temperature of the heated aluminum surface exceeds the melting temperature of the welding flux, the welding flux is in a molten state and is diffused to a predetermined surface area, and then the molten welding flux can be added to the aluminum surface; (b) an oxidation layer between aluminum and the molten welding flux is damaged in a mechanical treatment method, so that oxygen escapes from the oxidation layer of the aluminum and reacts with the matter with high aerobic performance in the welding flux to generate an oxidation layer on the surface of the molten welding flux with the matter; (c) one electric connector made of the silver or the silver-based alloy is placed on the top of the welding flux on the aluminum surface area, and then the welding flux is made to solidify, so that the electric connector is firmly attached to the solidified welding flux.
