Abstract

The invention relates to an air velocity transducer for monitoring environment, and in particular to an air velocity transducer which is capable of being configured to be current output or voltage output. The velocity transducer comprises a power circuit, a photovoltaic conversion circuit, a single-chip microcomputer minimum system and a digital-to-analogue conversion circuit, wherein the power circuit is connected to the photovoltaic conversion circuit, the single-chip microcomputer minimum system and the digital-to-analogue conversion circuit respectively, the photovoltaic conversion circuit is connected to the single-chip microcomputer minimum system, and the microcomputer minimum system is connected to the digital-to-analogue conversion circuit. Compared with the prior art, the air velocity transducer has the advantages that one air velocity transducer is compatible with four output modes which are 0 - 20mA current output, 4 - 20mA current output, 0 - 5V voltage output and 0 - 10V voltage output. And the required output mode can be configured to be one of the four above modes through modifying embedded software without replacing the air velocity transducer.
