Abstract

A coating composition of which the total weight is 100wt% comprises the following components: 10 to 40wt% of at least one of methoxy cinnamic acid and methoxy cinnamic acid ester, 10 to 40 wt% of silicone resin, and 30 to 50 wt% of organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent comprises at least one of alcohol, isopropanol, methylbenzene, ethyl acetate and silicone oil with the viscosity smaller than or equal to 200 mPa.s. The coating composition provided by the invention has good application property, and a coating prepared from the coating composition has good glossiness, hydrophobicity and hydrophobic persistence.
