Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic flushing device for a squatting pan or a pedestal pan. The automatic flushing device comprises a water storage tank, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe, wherein the water storage tank is provided with a water inlet, a water outlet, a water valve switch I, a water valve switch II and a link mechanism for controlling the water valve switches. According to the automatic flushing device provided by the invention, a user on the toilet can directly step on a pedal which is integrated with the ground and beside the squatting pan or the pedestal pan to drive the pedal to move down, a push rod moves up till the water valve switch II is turned off, the water valve switch I is turned on, and the water storage tank starts storing water; and when the user leaves the pedal, the resilience force of a compression spring and the water in the water storage tank act together on the gravity of the water valve switch II, the push rod moves down till the water valve switch I is turned off, the water valve switch II is turned on, and the water in the water storage tank flushes the squatting pan or the pedestal pan automatically. The automatic flushing device achieves the automatic flushing function by virtue of a pure mechanical mechanism, is simple in structure, lower in energy consumption and reliable to use, and effectively overcomes the defects of an infrared automatic flushing system and a hand-operated flushing system in the prior art.
