Abstract
The present invention relates to additive composition for control and inhibition of polymerization of monomers including styrene, wherein the composition consists of: (a) one or more of quinone methide derivatives; and CHARACTERIZED IN THAT the composition further comprises: (b) one or more of tertiary amines, wherein said tertiary amine is selected from a group consisting of: (i) tri isopropanol amine (TIPA), (ii) Nu,Nu,Nu',Nu'-Tetrakis (2-hydroxyethyl) ethylene-diamine) (THEED), and (iii) mixture thereof. In one embodiment, the present invention relates to method of preparation thereof and uses thereof, and a method for controlling and inhibiting polymerization of monomers including styrene.
