Embodiment Construction

[0033] figure 1 The dental furnace 10 shown in FIG. 2 has, in the embodiment shown, a furnace hood 12 and a furnace floor 14 , on which the furnace hood 12 is rotatably mounted in a manner known per se.

[0034] in accordance with figure 1 In the view in , the furnace floor 14 has a display device 16 on its front side. According to the invention, such a display device 16 is used, wherein in the operating state shown, the inner crown 18 of the dental restoration is represented by a solid line in the left region, and the tooth to be applied to the inner crown is represented as the dental restoration 20 is shown in dashed form.

[0035] In contrast, a tooth 22 is displayed in the right-hand region of the display device 16 , an image of which tooth was acquired by the image recording device, wherein the neighboring teeth of the tooth 20 to be produced are displayed.

[0036] This display basically indicates to the dental technician which layers according to the invention must b...

Abstract

The method involves determining image data i.e. three-dimensional data, of external contour of a dental restoration part (20) and applied layers of the part. The part is arranged in an image recording area of an image recording device i.e. three-dimensional camera. Layer thickness and / or color of the layers are determined before the manufacturing of the part. The layer thickness is compared with the image data, and an error signal is produced when the layer thickness and / or the color and / or other parameter do not correspond to predetermined layer based on the image data. An independent claim is also included for a dental oven.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a dental restoration according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a dental furnace according to the preamble of claim 15 . Background technique [0002] It has long been known that the quality of manufactured dental restorations depends on how the dental restoration to be manufactured is fitted to adjacent teeth. This concerns both shape and color, but also eg color distribution and translucency. [0003] In order to produce as realistic and harmonized a dental restoration appearance as possible for the dental restoration, it is known to record adjacent teeth by means of a camera and to form the appearance of the dental restoration on the basis of this. The disadvantage here is that the 2D camera only works in a planar manner, so that only color differences of adjacent teeth are reflected in the dental restoration, but not, for example, translucency. [0004] It is also known to produce dental restora...
