Abstract

The present invention provides a testing method comprehensively reflecting a warp wear degree in a weaving process. Without wefting insertion, a weaving machine normally carries out opening, beating-up, take-up and warp pacing movements; after the weaving machine stops, an under-test warp is divided by a mark pen into three regions which are a greige yarn (A), a yarn (B) passing a dropper, and a yarn (C) passing a harness wire and a reed; breaking strength, breaking elongation, abrasive resistance and hairiness of the three segments of yarns are tested individually, and the test data of the yarns is then compared and analyzed, thus to determine weavability of the yarn. The method can be used for comprehensively assessing the weavability, also for researching and analyzing strategies for raising the weavability of the warps, and for providing references for related technicists to analyze and research the warp weavability of their companies.
