Abstract

The invention relates to a micro mirror assembly and a method used for driving a mirror. The micro mirror assembly comprises the mirror, a first electrode, a second electrode, a memory and a controller, wherein the mirror can be inclined around a hinge, the first electrode and the second electrode are arranged at different sides of the hinge, the memory is used for storing and indicating state data of a first electrode state of the first electrode and a second electrode state of the second electrode corresponding to the mirror, the controller is used for receiving the state data of the first electrode and the second electrode from the memory and responding to operation requests, the controller is used for reverting the states of the first electrode and the second electrode, and the controller is further used for resetting signals according to corrected states of the first electrode and the second electrode and sending the signals to the mirror.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to projection display technology, in particular to a micro-mirror component in a projection system and a method for driving the mirror. Background technique [0002] With the advancement of display technology, micro-mirror components are widely used in display devices such as projection systems. In these projection systems, light is projected to correspond to the color channels of the image. A micromirror assembly in a projection system displays pixels of an image (displayed or not) by tilting the mirrors in the assembly to project light or deflect light. In general, the amount of time the mirror panel is turned on and off controls the intensity of a given pixel and a given color. [0003] When a voltage is applied to the mirrors in the micromirror assembly, electrostatic attraction can cause the mirrors to tilt in one direction or the other, depending on the voltage supplied to the electrodes. The micromirror device can reset ...
