In an initial state, ammonium nitrate is in the ammonium nitrate storage chamber and water is in the water storage chamber; when the outer wall of the ammonium nitrate storage chamber sufficiently contacts with a to-be-cooled heat source, the device enters a working state and water flows into the ammonium nitrate storage chamber to be mixed with ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate quickly dissolves at relatively high temperature and absorbs heat severely, and the ammonium nitrate absorbs a large amount of heat from the to-be-cooled heat source by contact; after cooling is completed, the device enters a recycling state, and by gentling heating the solution, water begins to evaporate and ammonium nitrate begins to separate out, so as to realize separation of water and ammonium nitrate.
