Abstract

The invention relates to a baffling loaded type photocatalytic reactor used for treating waste water. The photocatalytic reactor comprises a reactor main body used for accommodating waste water to be treated. At least one separating plate used for dividing to form subsidiary reaction cavities is disposed in the reactor main body. Each of the subsidiary reaction cavities is provided with at least one filler used for dividing to form subsidiary water flow paths and is provided with a water inlet and a water outlet which are communicated through the subsidiary water flow paths. The water outlet of a former subsidiary reaction cavity is connected to the water inlet of a later subsidiary reaction cavity. The water flow directions of adjacent two subsidiary reaction cavities are opposite. Ultraviolet lamps are disposed in the reactor main body. The photocatalytic reactor is reasonable in design, achieves baffling flowing of the waste water in the reactor, enhances fluid turbulence, increases the mass transfer efficiency, improves dissolving capacity of a gas oxidant in water and increases the photocatalytic reaction area, and therefore efficient and harmless treatment of toxic, harmful and refractory organic matters in the waste water is achieved under the action of ultraviolet light.
