The invention provides a system and method for making an object move along a preset route on an interactive platform. The system comprises the moving object internally provided with a unique identification code, a moving module and a capacitance type label forming a clear pattern. The label is located on the moving object and close to the face making contact with the interactive platform. The interactive platform is used for distinguishing the unique identification code and the position and direction of the moving object on the interactive platform. A processor is in communication with the interactive platform through instructions and information. By tracking the unique identification code and the position and direction of the moving object, the moving object is commanded, tracked and corrected continuously in the whole process to move along the preset route on the interactive platform. A central control mode is adopted in the scheme. Thus, a hardware structure in the moving object is simplified, production cost is reduced, and the system and method are clear in logic and easy to understand on the aesthetic aspect.
