Abstract

The invention discloses a light source device comprising an exciting light source used for producing exciting light and a wavelength conversion device arranged in the propagation light path of exciting light. The wavelength conversion device comprises a reflection area and a wavelength conversion area, and the wavelength conversion area is provided with a wavelength conversion material used for converting the received exciting light into excited light of preset wavelength. The light source device further comprises a polarization device, a polarization conversion assembly and a filter group, which are sequentially arranged on a light path between the exciting light source and the wavelength conversion device. The invention further discloses a projection system. Through the technical scheme, the light paths of exciting light and excited light can be separated, and compared with the prior art, exciting light in excited light can be filtered without filter wheels. The light source device and the projection system have the advantages of simple overall structure, compact layout, low production cost, high reliability, and the like.
