The humidification-dehumidification system comprises a plurality of evaporation / condensation units, wherein each evaporation / condensation unit comprises an evaporation member; each evaporation member comprises a fluid circulation system and an evaporation chamber; at least one of the evaporation / condensation unit further comprises a condensation member; the condensation members comprise condensation chambers; each condensation member is supplied with a recycling heat exchanger, at least one heat source and at least one cold source. Due to adoption of the evaporation / condensation units, a gas-carrying mixture can be enabled to flow through all evaporation members in a preset unit sequence, and flow through all condensation members in a unit sequence opposite to the preset unit sequence; each evaporation / condensation unit has independent control on the circulation system of the evaporation member in the evaporation / condensation unit, and thus the flowing speed of liquid-containing fluid in each evaporation member can be independently adjusted.
