The engine includes an air cylinder; an air inlet duct which is connected to the air cylinder; an air exhaust duct which is connected to the air cylinder; an air inlet cam which drives an air inlet valve to open or close the air inlet duct; an air exhaust cam which drives an air exhaust valve to open or close the air exhaust duct; and an electric air inlet valve timing mechanism which is connected to an electronic control unit ECU, wherein the ECU controls the electric air inlet valve timing mechanism to regulate a phase position of the air inlet cam according to an acquired engine working condition electric signal so as to discharge a preset amount of exhaust gas in the air exhaust duct into the air inlet duct. The engine can rapidly and accurately regulate air valve timing, and can reduce emission of NOx to the greatest extent.
