Abstract

The invention discloses a medical DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) image display method. The method comprises the following steps that: obtaining one study of a patient, wherein the study comprises a plurality of DICOM image files; analyzing each DICOM image file in the study on a server side, obtaining metadata and an image in each DICOM image file, and storing all piece of obtained metadata in the study to a metadata file, and storing each obtained image as one picture; and through an HTTP (Hyper Text Transport Protocol), requesting the metadata file and the pictures of the server side by a browser client side, displaying the frame diagram of the study, and using the HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) Appcache of the browser client side to cache the picture which is not displayed for the moment, and if the DICOM image display request of the study is carried out, responding by the HTML Appcache of the browser client side. By use of the method, the image loading speed, the image display speed and the image operation speed of the client side can be quickened, and the network traffic of a user is saved.
