Abstract

The unmanned aerial vehicle is composed of a machine vision unit, a flight control unit, a route shooting unit, and a battery power supply unit; and the machine vision unit and the route shooting unit are connected with the flight control unit. The machine vision unit captures image information of power transmission lines in real time, calculates positions and directions of all power transmission lines in the image as well as the relative distances of all power transmission lines in the image according to the captured image information, and sends the data to the flight control unit to stabilize the position, direction and height of the unmanned aerial vehicle relative to the power transmission lines, so that the unmanned aerial vehicle can fly in parallel to the route.
