A worker puts seeds into a seed filling room and starts the seed sowing device, a transmission shaft is driven to rotate by virtue of an external motor, and the seed sowing wheel rotates when being driven by the external motor, so that seeds in the seed filling room continuously enter mould holes of the seed sowing device; when the seeds are rotated to the other side of the seed sowing wheel, a seed protecting belt gets involved and blocks off the mould holes, and the seeds are prevented from accidently dropping out under the action of gravity; and when the seeds are rotated to the outlet of the seed sowing device, the seeds in the mould holes drop out due to dead weight, so that quantitative intermittent sowing of the seeds is realized. For achieving the aim of stepless regulation, the seed sowing device disclosed by the invention adopts a way that a stepping motor is used for driving a mould hole inner wheel, and by virtue of nesting and combination of a first containing part and a second containing part, the volume of the mould holes is increased or reduced along with rotation of the stepping motor.
