Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a parallel transcoding system and a parallel transcoding method for code streams of a video monitoring platform. The system comprises a webmaster server, a scheduling server and a transcoding server cluster, wherein the webmaster server is used for managing the scheduling server and the transcoding server cluster; the scheduling server is used for analyzing a load state of each transcoding server in the transcoding server cluster, determining the transcoding servers of which the load states accord with a first preset requirement, and sending a received code stream transcoding request to at least one transcoding progress; the transcoding progress is used for transcoding the acquired target video code streams.
