Problems solved by technology

For example, multi-rotor UAVs powered by lithium batteries generally have a flight time of less than half an hour, so they cannot fly beyond visual range effectively, and it is especially difficult to overcome complex terrain such as mountains and waters, so they cannot complete professional and complex flight tasks

Embodiment Construction

[0014] refer to figure 1 , the multi-rotor fuel cell UAV may include a fuel cell system 1, a frame 2, a flight lifting component 3, a control mechanism, and the like.

[0015] The frame 2 includes a plurality of, for example, four arms 30 protruding outwards along it, and these arms 30 are arranged at approximately equal intervals around the frame 2 to ensure the flight stability of the UAV. Each boom consists of a first boom element 31 and a second boom element 33 . A folder is provided at the root of the first arm element 31 away from the frame 2 to be connected with the second arm element 33 .

[0016] However, it can be understood that the connection between the first arm element and the second arm element is not limited to the folder, but can be any known way to achieve a stable connection between the two, such as hinged, screwed, etc.

[0017] At the end of each arm 30 a corresponding flying lift member 3 is provided. Each flight lifting member 3 may for example compr...

Abstract

The invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle with fuel cells. The unmanned aerial vehicle comprises a fuel cell system, a framework, flying and lifting components, control mechanisms and at least one inflatable hydrogen storage component. The fuel cell system is communicated a hydrogen source, and power can be provided for the unmanned aerial vehicle with the fuel cells by the fuel cell system, so that the flying and lifting components can rotate by the aid of the control mechanisms, and the unmanned aerial vehicle can fly. The hydrogen storage components are communicated with the hydrogen source, hydrogen can be supplied to the inflatable hydrogen storage components by the hydrogen source when lift force needs to be increased, and accordingly the inflatable hydrogen storage components can be inflated; the hydrogen in the inflatable hydrogen storage components can be supplied to the fuel cell system to be dissipated when the lift force needs to be reduced, and accordingly the inflatable hydrogen storage components can be contracted. The invention further relates to a method for controlling the unmanned aerial vehicle with the fuel cells during flight. The unmanned aerial vehicle with the fuel cells and the method have the advantages that fuel cell power requirements of the unmanned aerial vehicle with the fuel cells in takeoff phases and cruise phases can be lowered, the weight of a hydrogen bottle can be reduced, power of the fuel cells can be reduced, and hydrogen storage systems can be diminished.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of fuel cell unmanned aerial vehicles, in particular to a fuel cell unmanned aerial vehicle with simple structure, light weight, multi-rotors and long driving range and a method for controlling the flight of the fuel cell unmanned aerial vehicle. Background technique [0002] Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is an unmanned aircraft controlled by radio remote control equipment and its own program control device. UAV is actually a general term for unmanned aerial vehicles. From a technical point of view, it can be divided into: unmanned helicopters, unmanned fixed-wing aircraft, unmanned multi-rotor aircraft, unmanned airships, and unmanned paraplanes. The characteristic of UAV is that there is no cockpit on board, but it is equipped with autopilot, program control device and other equipment. The personnel on the ground, on the ship, or at the remote control station of the parent aircraft track, locate, remotely control, ...
