Abstract

The coating has a bright color, no toxic and harmful elements and good thermal insulation performance, and is energy-saving and environment-friendly. The coating comprises, by weight, 52 to 62% of a film-forming substance, 20 to 26% of an orange infrared reflective pigment, 15.6 to 19.6% of a solvent, 0.8 to 1.0% of a thickening agent, 0.8 to 1.0% of a leveling agent and 0.4 to 0.8% of a dispersing agent, wherein the orange infrared reflective pigment is a complex of BiFe<1-x>Al<x>O<3>, titanium dioxide and mica. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (10) preparation of the orange infrared reflective pigment: pretreating mica, preparing a titanium dioxide-mica complex, preparing sol, preparing xerogel and then carrying out calcinations so as to obtain the orange infrared reflective pigment; and (20) mixing: uniformly mixing the rest components, adding the orange infrared reflective pigment and carrying out grinding so as to obtain the infrared-reflective thermal-insulation coating.
