Problems solved by technology

[0003] Literature search found that the 4th issue of Mechanical Engineering and Automation (Di Rong, Lian Jinhua "Testing the Residual Stress of Train Wheels") mentioned the use of cutting methods and strain gauges to measure the residual stress of the wheel tread, but this method needs to be destroyed The structure of the wheelset in service will largely lead to the scrapping of the wheelset, and the wheelset needs to be disassembled from the locomotive, which increases the difficulty of the already tight time window
The European standard EN 13262:2004 - "Ultrasonic method for determining the residual stress in the rim" mentioned in the article that according to the acoustic wave rebound effect, the double diffraction index is used to evaluate the residual stress distribution of the wheel rim. Since the ultrasonic wave used is a transverse wave, Since the shear wave is not sensitive enough to the residual stress, the accuracy of the obtained detection data will not be high

Embodiment Construction

[0012] The specific embodiment of the present invention is described in detail below:

[0013] 1. L CR wave excitation

[0014] According to Snell's law, refraction will occur when the ultrasonic longitudinal wave propagates from the slower sound wedge to the faster wheel set. When the longitudinal wave refraction angle is equal to 90°, the corresponding incident angle is called the first critical angle. Calculate The formula is shown below.

[0015] θ cr = sin -1 (V 1 / V 2 )

[0016] In the formula:

[0017] V 1 —propagation speed of ultrasonic longitudinal wave in medium with slow wave velocity (m / s);

[0018] V 2 — Propagation speed of ultrasonic longitudinal wave in medium with faster wave velocity (m / s).

[0019] θ cr - the first critical angle (°);

[0020] Refracted longitudinal waves will propagate along the circumferential surface of the wheel tread.

[0021] The first critical angle is calculated from Snell's law and the speed of sound in the acoustic w...

Abstract

The invention provides an ultrasonic nondestructive detection method for measuring high-speed railway wheel pair tread stress. The method is applied to the nondestructive measurement of wheel pair tread residual stress. Through the combination of an ultrasonic stress measurement system, an ultrasonic transducer and a wedge, an LCR wave which is most sensitive to the stress is excited. Through an acoustic time difference of the LCR wave with and without the stress near tread, the residual stress of an area is calculated. The residual stress can be accurately and rapidly detected in a nondestructive way.

Description

1. Technical field [0001] The invention proposes an ultrasonic nondestructive testing method for measuring the tread stress of high-speed railway wheels, and the method is suitable for the nondestructive measurement of the residual stress of the wheel tread. 2. Background technology [0002] With the increasingly significant role of railway transportation in the development of the national economy, people have higher and higher requirements for the safety of railway transportation. The train wheel set is an important part of the load-carrying train operation, and it is prone to wear, cracks and peeling during operation. The damage will seriously affect the safety of train operation. Therefore, whether it is the stress produced in the manufacturing process of the wheel set or the stress produced in the work of the wheel set, it is an important subject for people to study. [0003] Literature search found that the 4th issue of Mechanical Engineering and Automation (Di Rong, L...
