Abstract

The invention discloses a whitening and spot-removing composition and application thereof. The whitening and spot-removing composition mainly comprises 0.1 to 1 part of glycyrrhetinic acid and 0.1 to 2 parts of phenylethyl resorcinol. Through compounding of the above two components, the composition has substantial whitening and spot-removing effect, can rapidly permeate epidermis and reach deep skin tissue, focuses on inhibition of the activity of tyrosinase and exerts inhibitory effect on melanin formation in each phase; the composition is anti-inflammatory and anti-allergy and can prevent and inhibit local pigmentation caused by inflammations; the composition can provide sufficient nutrients to skin, soften cuticles and promote metabolism of cuticles, and exerts synergistic spot-fading effect from interior to exterior as a whole; moreover, the composition can be compounded with a salicylic acid active matter, 3-O-ethyl-ascorbic acid, sodium pyrosulfite and a penetration enhancer laurocapram so as to further improve whitening and spot-fading effects.
